HONDURAS
Gordon & Anna MacKenzie

In March 2013, Gordon and Anna were part of the LifeBridge Missions team that went to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. While on the ground there, they both felt a strong calling to become missionaries there. Having made the decision to be obedient to God’s call, they are now living in Honduras serving the people and equipping the leaders. There are many ways you can get involved; Pray for them, donate Air Miles, monthly sponsorship, or one-time gift. For more information on their vision and how to support them, visit their website.

LifeBridge & Explore Church have a multi-ministry impact in Tegucigalpa, Honduras through partners such as Compassion International and Manos Extendidas.

1) Compassion International:

Families and individuals at LifeBridge, presently support over 50 children through the child sponsorship program in two different Compassion Centers in the capital city of Honduras. Each project is operated by a local church that meets very stringent requirements set by Compassion International.

The Compassion projects provide a half-day program to tutor children with their schooling, teach the Bible and provide students with a hot meal. Compassion also sees that the children are cared for if any medical needs arise.

a) The Line of Abraham (HO 235): This church is located within the city and has an influential impact on the area.

b) The House of Diamonds (HO268): This church resides on the edge of the city dump where many of the people scavenge to eke out an existence.

If you want to sponsor a child from either of these projects please contact: Sherri Flint

Street Ministry

As often as funding permits, the Manos team takes to the streets to provide a small meal along with a hug and a godly word of encouragement to the homeless children, teens, and adults on the streets of downtown Comayaguela, Honduras.

We have a LifeBridge Church account set up at the Bluenose Bottle Depot. Donate your bottles and help fund the Honduras Street Ministry.
